The NHL Trade Deadline was accurately named for 2017, it was fairly dead. If you looked at the fan base of the New York Islanders, you would think that GM Garth Snow was dead as well seeing that he politely abstained from making a deal of any kind today. The Internet melted.

The 2015 NHL Entry Draft begins on June 26th in Sunrise, Florida. But for the New York Islanders it begins with pick 72, formerly the Florida Panthers’ third round pick. You may remember that pick was acquired in the 2014 Draft day blockbuster that saw the Islanders trade back…a whole year.
